Avoid Diacetyl in your beer with Brewzyme D. A simple addition makes it possible to consistently control Diacetyl by bypassing its formation altogether. Very useful for brewers of lagers and dry-hopped pale ales.

Adding Brewzyme D with your yeast pitch or at dry hopping results in the decarboxylation of alpha acetolactate to acetoin. Breaking down the precursor to diacetyl during fermentation prevents diacetyl from forming. This means reduced maturation time and makes it possible to exclude diacetyl rests from fermentation schedules, also reduces the negative aspects of "Hop Creep" when dry hopping.

Same dosage for ales as for lager beers. Even if the yeast is being re-used a new dose of enzyme needs to be added for every batch of beer.

Instead of just doubling the dose when using both during main fermentation and dry hopping, Brewzyme D should be added once at each of the different stages.
Removes the need of a diacetyl rest.

Brewzyme-D does not work on free diacetyl and cannot be used to remove diacetyl post-fermentation.

Made with Alpha Acetolactate Decarboxylase (ALDC) from Bacillus subtilis.

Dosage: 10 mL per 20 liters
Activity range: pH: 4.0 - 7.0 in temperatures 10 - 40 °C
