Ekens Wine Kit gives you up to 30 bottles that are ready to bottle after 3-4 weeks. An affordable and easy-to-make wine kit from Ekens.
Produces a beautiful wine with notes of blackberry, cherry and sloe. Suitable for grilled food such as skewers, as well as smoked and spicy food.
Tips for the wine making process and storing:
The wine can be enjoyed after a few weeks but benefit in structure and complexity from oak ageing. We recommend adding French or American oak chips, about 3-5 grams per bottle. This adds a complementary barrel character. To get a fuller wine the volume of water added to the concentrate may be reduced. Store the wine in a dark and cool place.
The wine set contains:
6 liters of concentrate
Wine yeast
Jässtopp stabilizer (Potassium Sorbate E202 and Potassium Metabisulphite E224)
